Day Nr8: San Francisco Day1

DOn the first full day we started at 8:45, pickup at the hotel, with a city tour which brought us all over San Francisco. Downtown, up to Twin Peaks (was a pitty that it was so foggy that you didnt see the wonderful view from there) via the Golden Gate Park over the Golden Gate bridge, also covered by fog .

After several more places seen, we were brought to Pier 33 where the Alcatraz tour started with the ferry, which brought us to Alcatraz Island. Very interesting audio tour. We have seen the prison from the inside, together with the cell of “Scarface” Al Capone and other big criminals. After that we took the ferry back and had a walk around Pier 39, where we saw the famous Sea Lions. We had dinner at the Hardrock cafe where we all bought a shirt. We bought tickets for the cable car to go back to the Hotel. It was damn cold (windy and foggy)
