Day 2: A Relaxed Day in Port Alberni
We started the day with a delicious breakfast at the Cedar Wood Lodge, where we enjoyed a generous spread of fruits, cereals, bread, yogurt, and a selection of drinks, including fresh orange juice, coffee, and tea.
After enjoying a good breakfast at the lodge, we took a short drive to Alberni Harbour Quay. There, we explored a charming store where we picked up some beautiful Christmas tree ornaments.
Our next stop was to visit Aunt Shirley, who was already waiting on her balcony to greet us as we arrived.
We had a lovely chat at her home, and she was absolutely thrilled with the birthday present we brought her. Over coffee and muffins, we reminisced and caught up, enjoying each other’s company.
Around 4 PM, we headed to Little Bavaria, one of Aunt Shirley’s favorite cozy restaurants. We savored an early dinner in its authentically charming atmosphere, making for a wonderful afternoon together. Spending time with Aunt Shirley truly made the day special for all of us!
By 7:30 PM, we returned to our accommodation and, after a long day, fell asleep around 8:30 PM, nearly sleeping through the night.
