Day 9: A Day in Victoria and Butchart Gardens

We started the day with a delicious breakfast at Beans Around the World, fueling up for the day ahead. Afterward, we took a stroll down Government Street, heading towards the harbor. Along the way, we explored the option of renting bikes for future outings and stopped by the visitor center to gather ideas for the day’s activities.

Visit to Butchart Gardens
After some deliberation, we decided to drive up to Butchart Gardens for a relaxing afternoon. The gardens were stunning, and we enjoyed a leisurely walk through the beautifully landscaped paths, followed by a pleasant lunch on-site.

On the return trip, we took several scenic side roads and ended up near the University of Vancouver Island. While I drove along the seaside, Marjan dozed off, enjoying the peaceful ride.

Evening Relaxation and Dinner at The Keg
We returned to our accommodation around 3 PM and took a couple of hours to relax. In the evening, we headed to our favorite restaurant, The Keg, where we indulged in an amazing steak dinner with a beautiful sun downer

After the meal, we took a short, peaceful walk along the harbor before heading back to the house to unwind.
