Day 13: Journey to Vancouver, Abbotsford and Dinner with Friends
After an unexpectedly early checkout, we waited in the car until our favorite spot opened for breakfast.
Even on a Sunday there is a hugh line
Once we had eaten, we headed to Swartz Bay to catch the 10 AM ferry. Unfortunately, that sailing wasn’t available, so we boarded the originally planned ferry at 11 AM to Tsawwassen.
Upon arriving in Vancouver, we made a stop at the McArthurGlen Outlet for some light shopping before continuing our drive to Marlies’ place in Abbotsford.
In the evening, we had a lovely dinner with Sander, Camela & Marlies, followed by a brief coffee together, wrapping up the day on a pleasant note.
