Day Nr6: From Vancouver Island

After a great breakfast at the relatives we had a nice guided tour by aunt Shirley & uncle Ton out to Sprout Lake as well as Harbour Area Port Alberni. The surroundings there are amazing. We also a had nice lunch (Burgers picked up by aunt Shirley).

At around 2pm we left to the south of Vancouver island to the Swatzbay Ferry terminal (only found by the navigation by entering Saanich/POI Harbour – Ferry Terminal) via Cathedral grove, where we saw amazing BIG trees, aged about 800 years, and Victoria (most south point of the island where we had a quick top at Fishermanns Wharf

After this visit we headed north to Swatzbay, where we were lucky again, because we arrived about 10min. before the 7pm ferry to Tsawassen, otherwise we had to wait for about 2 hrs.
This was also good because we arrived around 9pm in the hotel and not in the middle of the night.
