Day 7: Relaxing Day & Flamenco Show
Today we had a late breakfast, at around noon I decided to walk/hike a nice route in the surroundings of Nigüelas, while Marjan spent the whole day at the pool.
The walk was actually easy from the way itself, only roads, sandy and rocks, but the temparture was a bit high an average of 43°C.
Details to the trail:
Starting with a steep incline via serpentines you get high up and have a great view to Nigüelas. Heading further keeping left you wont miss the trail (road). Up there are some small houses and you can get there with a 4 wheel drive as well. Only the section on from the highest point to the junction where the blak spot is, it is only possible to walk or go with a moto cross bike. Then you follow the road back to Nigüelas, or you do kind of a short cut (only possible by foot) to hike down steep to the small creek where also an electric station is located. Below see some impressions from the walk.
After i came back from the hike I jumped into the pool and relaxed the rest of the day too. Beside that we also got the visits of the dog`s from our Host Tim.
In the late afternoon we picked up Dutch friends of Danielle, they live also in Nigüelas, to drive to Granada to have dinner and seeing a fantastic flamenco show in the Gardens of Generalife at Alhambra. We had dinner at Jardines Alberto with all of us and right after we walked over to the Generalife Gardens. Unfortunately making of pictures from the show was not allowed
