Day 8: Waterfall & Lunch

At this day we met Danielle, her friend and the dog again to get to some hidden gems in the area of the Lecrin valley. We had a late breakfast and than we headed to the other side of Nigüelas where we met them at and we drove only with car further. the first stop was in Durcal to have a coffee to start our nice trip.

After the coffee we where driving on a tiny road (made of concrete) as far as it was possible that we don’t have to walk too far. We parked the car and we also secured it with additional stones, because there was only a parking on the steep driveway. Then we had an interesting walk first a bit further an the road and then a small foot path. Following the path we also had to walk through the river, no bridges there, and at the end of the path there was an amazing waterfall

Of course we had to leave again this wonder full place and we walked back through the small river to the car. Than we drove to a restaurant, El Molino del Puente, in Durcal to have lunch there. The food was delicious – see some impressions of the food.
